Welcome to Cancer Can Rock

Cancer Can Rock LogoCancer Can Rock was created to give gifted musicians diagnosed with aggressive cancer an opportunity to share their genius with the world through recorded medium.  Sadly many brilliant musicians will never get the chance to shine that one last time.  That is our mission.  To give the very best musicians battling cancer the opportunity to record their music using the finest producers, studio musicians and facilities to ensure their significant musical contributions do not go un-noticed and their musical legacy to the arts is ensured.
Cancer Can Rock is based in Northern Virginia and is a Non Profit organization. Our full time staff is comprised of 2 individuals; Jim Ebert, Multi-Platinum Record Producer, formerly a staff producer at a Major label and himself a cancer survivor and Bruce Parker, currently working for PriceWaterhouse Coopers in their National Security Practice and is an MBA from Syracuse University.   Bruce is also a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the Army.  Our adjunct staff will be on an as required basis depending on the type of project to include volunteers for this worthy cause.
Recently the foundation established a board of prominent successful artist to ensure the integrity of the final recorded product and to spread the word about the foundation. Currently confirmed for board membership is Butch Walker, Multi Platinum selling record producer and songwriter and Mary-Louise Parker, Emmy, Golden Globe and Tony winning actress.
Thank you for your time and consideration in this worthwhile venture.  We will not let the clock run out on their dreams.
Jim Ebert
