Mark Scott is a seasoned guitarist, vocalist, and performer from the Maryland/DC area with deep roots in live music. He has played thousands of gigs across the region, delivering crowd-pleasing party rock sets with FireKite and also has a duo with his wife Lisa called Honeydu.
In 2022, Mark was diagnosed with prostate cancer. After focal treatment in 2023 and a biochemical recurrence, he completed multimodal salvage therapy in 2026, including ADT, external beam radiation, and brachytherapy boost (seeds) under the care of Dr. Young Kwok in Columbia, MD. He remains active in music, performing and creating while managing recovery from treatment with diet, strength training, and an optimistic outlook!
