Rolly DeVore is a multi-instrumentalist who’s been playing drums professionally since the age of 14. During the 1980’s he was performing shows across the country playing bass guitar, doing studio work as a drummer in Los Angeles, and even made a cameo appearance in the Tom Hank’s movie BACHELOR PARTY.
During the 1990’s he formed Orange County’s critically acclaimed Rock/Pop band UNDER THE STARRY SKY, where he handled the lead vocal and guitar duties.
As the “Tribute Band” world began to popularize in the 2000’s, he formed the “Who Tribute” band THE WHO GENERATION, which appeared on AXS-TV’s “The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands” television show. He’s also performed in tributes to KISS, Elton John, and Cheap Trick.
His music duo THE TWO recently shared the stage with actor/musician Jack Black. His newest “Beachy Hits” group GILLIGAN’S ISLAND (The Band) plays internationally.
Over the past 20 years when he’s not on stage, you could find him on a set with LARRY DAVID, working as Larry’s full time “stand-in” on the HBO television show “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” He’s made several cameo appearances on “Curb,” and Larry even named the character he played in his HBO movie CLEAR HISTORY after Rolly.
