Jacqueline Francis

Genre: Jazz

Jacqueline is a Washington D.C. based singer-songwriter, jazz vocalist, and personal chef. Though originally from Gaithersburg, Maryland, she spent many years shuttling between New York City and Boston as an independent musician. She released her first EP, Tales & Songs from Helen Gonne, in 2010, recorded at Mad Oak Studios in Allston, MA. Her cover of “Wonderwall” became a Boston area hit. Her first full length CD, The Sea, was released in 2015. In between cooking and baking, she is currently composing her third album. Though she composes Sara Bareilles/Kate Bush-inspired original music, she performs with her jazz trio Dreamsville, channeling Julie London and Peggy Lee. She also is the vocalist for the Capitol Lab Band.
