David began his Music career in 2007 knowing absolutely nothing about production. Armed with beats and melody hooks in his head, he kept persisting, despite his lack of knowledge. In 2014, he signed with New Dream Records based out of Greece. He left the label amicably in 2017, going solo. He then signed with AD Windblown Media Records in 2020. Since then, he has had several songs reach number one status on the Christian Music Weekly charts, along with many other others on the top five or top ten nationwide.
In 2024, David was diagnosed with mucinous adenocarcinma, a rare colon cancer. Surrendering to his faith, he has endured multiple rounds of many chemotherapy’s, immunotherapies, and clinical trials, most of them not working. But his faith remains strong as he has been going through naturopathic oncology and an additional immunotherapy as a clinical trial. His story continues to touch lives around the world as does his music. He will be the first to let you know that his faith and God get all the glory, that he is grateful for pain, weakness, and cancer itself, as it has changed him for the better and inspired and helped many others going through their own struggles.
David says that recording this song has been one of his favorite days in his entire life, and he will never forget the experience and the kindness of everyone involved in making the song “Needle” come to life in a way he was never able to before. He says, “the love I felt in this wonderful gift cannot be expressed in words. I continue to share about this experience, hoping so many others get this once in a lifetime experience like I have. Great things can happen when people love one another, and that’s my greatest calling.
