Bill Vasso Pappas has been playing and performing since he was 13 years old. He was born and raised in New York City, where he jammed with some of today’s most legendary musicians. Bill toured with numerous bands in the 60’s through 1980 when a hand injury forced him to find a new career. After 30 years in the film industry, Bill picked up a guitar again in 2010.
Newly retired, Bill was looking for a hobby, and it quickly turned into another music career. Bill formed Dead Cat Bounce and started touring the DMV area when he was offered a residency gig at 219 Restaurant in Alexandria, VA. Bill continues to rock 219 and the whole DC Metro area with his band, The Bill Pappas Project.
