Rich Forsen

President

Rich came to Cancer Can Rock first as a consumer of great music at a benefit concert, then as a corporate sponsor through his company, Network Depot.

His sister, Rachel, succumbed to a long and courageous bout with cancer at age 38, and he had been looking for a way to combat cancer in a meaningful fashion.

Cancer Can Rock provides that avenue for application of business experience, devotion, and love of music.

Jeff Brasfield

Treasurer

Having spent his formative years as a touring singer, guitarist and songwriter, Jeff Brasfield grew up with music in his soul. In a burgeoning music scene, Jim Ebert produced his first CD and provided a mentor/stabilizing role in Jeff’s development as a recording artist. After spending two decades as an accountant, Jeff started his own small bookkeeping company and wanted a chance to “give back” to the musical community that had given him so much inspiration as a young adult. Noting that “There are so many great organizations that allocate resources towards cancer research, and so few that give cancer victims and survivors a legacy to remember” Jeff welcomed the opportunity to become Treasurer of Cancer Can Rock, an organization that he had followed and supported for years. Jeff brings 25 years of tax, audit and accounting experience to Cancer Can Rock, with a focus on budgeting, planning and financial guidance for the organization.
